USP Parenting+: Navigating the Return to Work

I was recently invited by the awesome mamas behind Union Square Play’s Parenting+ platform to speak as an expert on navigating the return to work. Jennie of Mo’ Mommies and I chatted with other moms about the mixed emotions and logistical challenges faced by working parents when parental leave ends, a new role at work (or at home) begins, or there is a transition from working from home to back at the office. We talked about topics including identity and priority shifts, ambivalence and ambition, and gender roles.
Parenting+ allowed us to connect with moms from different places in the country and in their parenthood. It is a community dedicated to like-minded parents seeking parenting tips, product recommendations, kids’ activities, empathy, genuine support from other parents, events with experts like this one, and so much more. Check it out for more great opportunities to talk through feelings, network and bond, and share strategies!
