MoMMA's Voices Community Call on Asserting Yourself
“Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you."

It was a pleasure to lead the November Community Call for Momma's Voices (a program of the Preeclampsia Foundation whose mission is to amplify the voices of people who have experienced pregnancy and childbirth complications or loss)! We talked about what this Ruth Bader Ginsburg quote means to me and more: even though women can really struggle with assertiveness, it is possible -- and in fact, necessary for your mental health and to create positive change -- to assert yourself and your values in a kind and effective way.
Please reach out if you need help with asserting yourself or would like a workshop on this topic or others affecting women's rights and mental health!
